General Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Legal Notice
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTC") are provided by:

The website oroona.com (hereinafter the “Site”) is hosted on the Shopify platform.
2. Purpose and Scope
These GTC aim to define the rights and obligations of the micro-enterprise Oroona and its customers (hereinafter the “Client”) in the context of the online sale of Brazilian jewelry and any other product presented on the Site.
Any order placed on the Site implies full acceptance of these GTC without reservation. The applicable GTC are those in force on the date of the order.
3. Products and Availability
Oroona offers Brazilian jewelry for online sale. The products available for purchase are in stock and ready for immediate dispatch unless otherwise stated. The photographs and descriptions of the products are provided for information only. Colors and sizes may vary slightly depending on the device (screen brightness, etc.).
In the event that a product is exceptionally unavailable after the order has been validated, Oroona undertakes to inform the Client as soon as possible and may offer an exchange or a refund for the missing product(s).
4. Prices and VAT
- The prices displayed on the Site are expressed in euros (EUR).
- VAT not applicable, pursuant to Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code, given the micro-enterprise status.
- Any applicable shipping fees are indicated separately and added to the total amount of the order.
- Oroona reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the product will be invoiced based on the rate in effect at the time of the Client’s order confirmation.
5. Order
5.1 Order Process
The Client adds the desired items to their virtual cart and confirms their order. They enter their shipping and billing information, then proceed with secure payment. A confirmation email is sent as soon as the order is validated.
5.2 Order Confirmation
The order is considered accepted and the contract is formed upon receipt of full payment by Oroona.
6. Payment Terms
- Accepted Payment Methods: Credit Card (via Shopify Payment), PayPal.
- Security: Payments are secured by an SSL protocol. Banking information is never transmitted in clear text on the Site.
- Payment at the Time of Order: The Client is debited immediately upon ordering. No shipment will be made before full payment has been received.
7. Delivery
- Delivery Methods: Home delivery (Lettre Suivie, Colissimo, Delivengo…) or Relay Point (Mondial Relay, InPost, Chronopost Shop2Shop).
- Delivery Times: 2 to 5 working days in Metropolitan France; 3 to 10 working days abroad (typical timelines).
- Shipping costs are calculated automatically in the cart based on weight and destination country.
- Delivery Delays: Delays by the carrier do not entitle the Client to compensation.
The Client is required to check the condition and contents of the package upon delivery. Any irregularity (damaged package, missing product, etc.) must be reported to Oroona as soon as possible.
8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Client has a period of 14 days from receiving the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay any penalties.
- The Client notifies Oroona of their decision to withdraw (by email to contact@oroona.com or using the contact form).
- The Client returns the relevant products in their original condition, unused and with all accessories and packaging, to the address provided by Oroona.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the Client, unless otherwise agreed.
- Oroona will refund the amount of the returned products within a maximum of 14 days from the notification of withdrawal, provided the items have been received.
Exceptions: Orders for products that are personalized or made to the Client’s specifications are not subject to the right of withdrawal (Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code).
9. Legal Warranties
9.1 Legal Warranty of Conformity
(Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code)
In the event of a non-conforming or defective product, the Client has 2 years from delivery of the item to request repair or replacement (within the limits of the legal conditions).
9.2 Legal Warranty Against Hidden Defects
(Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code)
The Client may decide to invoke the warranty against hidden defects. In such a case, they can choose between cancelling the sale or receiving a price reduction.
10. Liability
Oroona cannot be held liable in the event of non-performance or improper performance of the contract resulting either from the Client’s actions, from an unforeseeable and insurmountable act by a third party, or from a case of force majeure. Product descriptions and photographs are provided for informational purposes only. Minor differences may occur and do not engage the seller’s liability.
11. Personal Data Protection
Oroona collects and processes the Client’s personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés). The data collected (name, first name, address, payment method, etc.) is necessary to process the order and manage the customer relationship.
The Client has the right to access, rectify, delete, and oppose the processing of their personal data by sending a request to contact@oroona.com.
12. Intellectual Property
The texts, images, logos, and graphic elements on the Site are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or use, in whole or in part, of the Site’s contents is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from Oroona.
13. Mediation and Dispute Resolution
In accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Client has the right to seek free recourse to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of any dispute. The contact details of the accredited mediator will be provided to the Client upon simple request to contact@oroona.com.
In the event that mediation fails, any dispute relating to the performance of these GTC is subject to French law and falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in accordance with the Consumer Code.
14. Force Majeure
Oroona cannot be held responsible for any failure to fulfill one of its obligations if a case of force majeure (natural disaster, war, strike, pandemic, etc.) prevents or delays it.
15. Modification of the GTC
Oroona reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The new conditions will apply to any order placed after their publication on the Site. We therefore encourage you to check this page regularly.
16. Acceptance of the GTC
By checking the “I accept the General Terms and Conditions of
